Personal statement

I am a Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde where my research interests lie in better understanding the opportunities for CO2 geological storage in offering large-scale emissions reductions and removal of CO2 from the atmosphere. I work on the UPTAKE project, which is a large Horizon-EU funded multi-disciplinary project focused broadly on Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) methods.

My technical background is in geoscience, and my research often involves creating geological models of the subsurface, simulating CO2 injection and evaluating containment risks, including those posed by legacy wells.

I am also am an active contributor to the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP), and Data Lead to Proposal 1005 (Sunda Shelf, Vietnam).
